Casa Albini
Well, although static, a map implies a narrative thought, it’s conceived as a function of an itinerary, it’s an Odyssey..
Italo Calvino
An 18th century building welcomes you in the village of Copersito, surrounded by the stillness of nature.
There, a new world begins… Cilento.
“The world is a book, and only one of its pages is known by those who don’t travel.”
Saint’ Augustine
When you linger in Copersito, you become porous and yielding to time
When you get to Casa Albini, you may feel having reached the end of the world, as the road, straight after, becomes a path that leads to the valley, where no human works seem to exist.
But then, if you look very close at the very bottom of the valley, you can spot and hear the train, whistling in the distance… Looking up just a little, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Salerno, Punta Capanella, and Capri. After a few breaths, you just understand that it’s the beginning of a new world.
Palazzo Albini
Still the residence of the family’s descendants, Palazzo Albini dates back to early 18th century featuring a complex architecture, enriched by several works of restoration carried out by the family during its history’s long course.
